This year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair sees the launch of two brand new lounge furniture series from Skandiform. One with curvy contrasts and accommodating shapes. The other is a versatile family with integrity. Also to be launched is a restrained table and sophisticated coat stand. But that’s not all – there is also new additions to the series of Deli and Primo chairs.
CURL (design Jonas Lindvall) is a completely new product family with a strong character and soft round shapes throughout. The family – sofa, armchair and table – is ideal for all interiors requiring a lounge grouping with a difference. This impression is reinforced by the beautiful natural materials, such as oak or ash legs and oak, ash or marble table tops. The series has all it takes to become new timeless classics.
MY (design Joe Doucet) is the result of a new collaboration with the American designer Joe Doucet. MY is a versatile product family that enables the creation of rooms within rooms. The series consists of a sofa, armchair, bench seating, screen, table lamp and table. It is ideal for dividing lounge areas, meeting rooms or libraries, for example. Numerous accessories make it easy to rearrange, develop and grow with the furniture. Lacquered steel frame. Back and sides in a technical mesh fabric that screens without being solid.
PRIMO (design Stefan Borselius) is a desirable and well-known series from Skandiform, emphasizing comfort and aesthetic appeal. Beautiful from front and back, with sleekly feminine lines. Now also available with a polished aluminium swivel frame on castors. The series also includes a high-back version. Both new products offer the same excellent ergonomics, and are in the same exclusive materials as the basic version.
MATSUMOTO (design Claesson Koivisto Rune) is a totally new table for café interiors that offers something different. The table seats two, but placing tables in a line creates an exciting long table with clearly defined seat positions. Table top in white or black stained ash. Pedestal and base in white or black. Named after the town northwest of Tokyo where Claesson Koivisto Rune designed a flagship store. Its café interior won the German Design Award 2015.
NAGANO (design Claesson Koivisto Rune) is a restrained and sophisticated coat stand in black or white. Perfect for hanging up coats and jackets in offices or meeting rooms. Named after the county in Japan where the city of Matsumoto is located. Claesson Koivisto Rune designed a flagship store there whose café interior won the German Design Award 2015.
DELI (design Thomas Pedersen) is successful and award-winning furniture from Skandiform, poised between chair and armchair. DELI's organically shaped seat shell represents the comfortably different. The family is now growing with three new frames: a sophisticated sled frame; a strong cantilever frame; and a simple leg frame version. DELI received the Red Dot Award 2014 in the "Best of the Best" category.
