Skandiform's new products for the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2015:
Petals is a new easy chair from Stone Designs. As the name suggests, the design is inspired by the petals of a flower whose protective embrace offers a welcome refuge from the surrounding world. Stone Designs is the studio of the Spanish design duo Cutu Mazuelos and Eva Prego.
Primo is another new chair launched at the fair. Primo combines comfort – lumbar support and soft upholstery – with the eye-catching appeal of a slender, almost feminine silhouette. The ideal choice for conference rooms, it also works well in restaurants and other dining environments. Primo has been designed by Stefan Borselius and is the first of what will be a series of similar models.
Also making its debut at the fair is Oval, a new, generously proportioned chair that comes in black, white and brown, with or without armrests. Oval is stackable, which makes it the perfect choice in venues where furnishings are frequently rearranged to meet changing needs. Oval has been designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, a three-man design team comprising Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune.
Deli chair is no newcomer to the Skandiform range, but the Stockholm Furniture Fair does present the opportunity to introduce a further addition to the Deli family – a new version on castors. As always the chair provides good support for the lower back to ensure users of a comfortable sitting position both at their desk and at the lunch table. Deli has been designed by Thomas Pedersen.
